A New Shipping Company established by Russia

 
 
 

Russian government will establish a shipping line Caspian sea.

 CAMERSANT newspaper reported that the mentioned firm will establish from mixing two

governmental companies calld "OLIA port and North Caspian shipping company " .

Gonadi Ledogoorsky general director of North Caspian shipping company declared: "The official formalities allied to establishing Russian shipping company in Caspian sea will finished up to the beginning of  September this year. The new firm will be called " OLIA port " and will be active under supervision of Transport ministry of Russia . The duties of this company are , packing and transfering the cargo carrying by containers, repairing the ships and preparing the personnel's of  these ports.

In the first stage, four sails Ro-Ro ships belongs to North Caspian shipping company , which are sailing among Russia and Iran.

Primary capital of this new governmental company which other privet companies like Souvarakht and AstaraKhan Shipping line have expressed  for cooprating with it , is 150,000,000.

On the other hand Yury Sherbanin - sub president of Euro - Asia who is also the coordinator of the North-South corridor , described the establishing of the new company as a step toward express movemet of cargo.

Ledogorsky mentioned that the rate for moving 20' container from OLIA port to Iran will be 220 USD only. Simultaneously the rate from St.Petersbourgh to Rotterdam port / Netherlands and with the same distance is $900.
