Islamic Republic of Iran railway manager announced that the length of this railing network is 3300 kilometers and the paramount one was the one between Mashhad and Bafq which is longed for 1000 kilometers.
He asserted: Shipping and constructional ministry is now inspecting the railing network which is gonna take 20-25 years according to the present budget.
He mentioned that this wide network is the least necessity of the province, and consequential trading centers railway network, and also a wide and international network for transiting.
According to what he said: The priority of setting up such network hereafter the finalizing of the Mashhad –Bafq railway would gonna be to Iraq, Syria, and also the Mediterranean railing network.
Mr. Saeed Nezhad declared that the demand for shipping is 56 millions of ton whereas the Iran’s railway capacity respectively is 14.6 millions passengers and 26 million tons of cargo.
Based on his declaration, In the first 4 months of this year, 10 million tons of loads, 5.5 million passengers and 342 thousands of transitive articles are being transmitted and shipped which had respectively 17, 19, 40 percent growth.
He also talked over the railing equipment and said: There’s been a covenant with Alstum Company to procure 100 locomotives in1378 and hence force merely 20 of them has been delivered and the rest would be montage in Iran and will be delivered gradually.
Mr. Saeed Nezhad implied for 20 transits: According to the new concord and after the delivery, Transets will be altered and increased from 4 cars to 6 cars and also the wagons will be altered from 80 cars to 120 cars.
Iran’s railway principal also added: We have also signed an agreement with an Iranian company for building 5000 encumbering wagons.2000 of these wagons would be delivered gradually till the next two years.
