Nicholay Raibov – Russian ambassador in Azerbaijan indicated that Azerbaijan wishes free shipping in Caspian Sea and Russia waters. “Although this is contrary to laws of Russia but Russia will study Azerbaijan suggestion” Mr. Raibov added. He also declared that if South – North Corridor is put into operation; Russia will enact new regulations for Free shipping in Russian waters in Caspian Sea. On the other hand Moscow has provided a draft of agreement in 5 articles concerning shipping regulations in Caspian Sea. In the last conference between presidents of countries located at the shore of Caspian Sea, Russia emphasized on joint usage of level and sea-bed.
