Iran, Russia and India will increase using of North corridor

 
 
 

Iran, Russia and India will increase the transportation activities in North _ South corridor.

Changiz Ismailove the secretary transportation minister of Russia added:" 4 million tons of cargos have been transported in this corridor last year. "

Ismailove pointed to the second meeting of co ordination assembly regarding North _ South corridor in Tehran in Thursday and added: " It is expected to invite transportation companies of three countries to increase their activities in this corridor."

According to his speech some agents from two courtiers Belarus and Kazakhstan the new members of this corridor_ will attend in this meeting.

He said :" The attendants in Tehran's meeting are going to visit Bandar Abbas by which the sent shipments from India will be transported and then will be moved  via Iran and Russia to the North Europe. The Persian Gulf countries are desirous to use this corridor for their further businesses as in this way the route to Eastern and Northern Europe will be shorten in comparison with Indian ocean and Suiez channel route and also will charge $400 less that previous way.
