30 billion Rials will be dedicated to rebuilding the domestic shipping vessels in the current year. "This figure is considered as the part of bank profit to shipping corporations." Deputy of port affairs and special zone of shipping corporation Mr.Hasan Najafi added.
He considered the passenger ship as an agenda and added that part of this budget will be dedicated to rebuilding the passenger ships in south waters and commercial ships in the north waters.
"This vessels should be fortified compared to Russian vessels .we provide facilities that Iranian ships can now sail through the sea with ten flag this allows shipping corporations to use foregn facilities for buying vessels." he stated.
"This law now is executed for five vessels owned by IRSL .this law is under surviving for other shipping lines.
Now the life of supertankers are 6.5 year and the life of commercial vassals are 14 year but this period should be decreased to 12 years." Mr.Najafi announced.
He pointed out to unfulfilled contracts for building ships in the country and said that this contract despite the dedication of this budget is not fulfilled yet.
