Export of crafts in the first four years of current year is amounted to 166 million and 625 thousand dollar that one third of this amount is sent to the German and United State of America.
During this period German imported Iranian carpet and crafts up to amount of 30million and 698 thousand dollar. After these two countries United Arab of Emirate with 13 million and 280 thousand dollar and Japan with 10million and Italy with 8 million dollar are among the best buyers of Iranian crafts.
According this report in first four months of this year in craft category, export of turquoise and precious stones are in the first position which are amounted to 38 million dollar .this rate grows more than 3.5 times compared to the same period in the previous year.
This report shows that export of carpet without considering other kinds of crafts is amounted to 118 million and 353 thousand dollar which decreased compare to the same period in the previous year.
The greatest part of export for carpet in this period belongs to the German, United Arab of Emirate, Italy and Japan respectively.
In the same period 2 million and 409 thousand dollar short-napped coarse carpet and pile less carpet, 254 thousand dollar incrustation and 242 thousand dollar printed cloth is exported out of Iran. This figures has been decreased up to15,175 and 12 percent respectively.
