Special Economic zone of Anzali ports

New facilities have been considered in year 1380 for merchants and goods owners to attract more vessels and goods to Anzali port , which are as follows :

A ) Considering discounts of % 60 , % 75 & % 85 for non-oil , CNTR & RO-RO vessels to deduct all in costs related to cargoes entering with the documents of special area. Also consideringfreezone.htm discount of % 50 for handling charges of these vessels.

B ) From now on , all  Iranian  banks will open LC to thefreezone.htm name of special area to offer new facilities to the goods owners and using bank systems better and easier.

Beginning to exploit new wharves, the total number of the Anzali port wharves become 10 that results in increasing the loading and unloading abilities of the same to more than 5 million MT

AN INTRODUCTION TO SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONES

Regions created in the entrance gates or in domestic products , promoting exports , creating stimulus in regional economy , according to Clause “D” of Note 25 of the Second Five - Year Economic , Social and Cultural Development Plan (passed 1993) are called “special economic zones” .
