As mentioned in full details in ‘ facilities’ explanations , KTS Group concerning the fact that rail transportation  services is economical. and we can offer you transportation services for your consignments from Bandar Abbas by 40 MT or 60 MT wagons. Since in transportation by rail no weight limitation is considered so for heavy cargoes this is an important & valuable point in comparisons with this fact that for transport of cargoes by truck there will be overweight charges when the shipments weight increase from base of 20 MT. Anyhow, FYI, there is no possibility for transporting more than 26 MT cargoes by Standard Flat Trucks. However,  rail transportation will be done without any overweight charges from any origin to destinations in CIS and Afghanistan and vice versa. Another point which makes this type of transport distinct from any other modes of transport is moving SOC containers by rail. As you may know the rate for SOC and COC by truck is approximately same. But moving SOC by rail, since it is not needed to return the container, is more economical. For example the rates to Almaty by rail for 20’ SOC is $1800 & for 40’ SOC is $2850 while the same rate by truck is $5000 - $5300.
