Tariffs rate had % 70-% 80 increases

New tax and duties tariffs and port charges of oil vessels and container vessels

 

·         Tax and duties for vessel and cargo.

 

1) Port’ tax and duties for vessel include:

-    Vessel entrance duty to ports mouth, vessel entrance duty to           

    Ports

 

-     loading and discharging duty in ports water.

 

2) Port’ tax and duties for cargo include:

-     Port duties for import cargo, export cargo, discharging right on     

       The jetty, loading right from the jetty and health duty of port.

 

·         Port charges for vessel and cargo

 

1)    port charges for vessel:

-         guiding charges include anchoring and weight anchoring , guidance, berthing and leaving jetty, sweep layer, staying beside jetty, groom leading, gathering garbage, quarantine service and over working charges.

 

2)    port charges for cargo

-         discharging from vessels warehouse, handling charge include transferring cargo from vessel to warehouse or Yard, discharging in warehouse or Yard, stacking in warehouse or Yard, loading by goods owner, warehousing and overworking. 

Tax and duties and port charges new tables

1)    Calculation base is according to GRT and in case which one vessel has both GRT and GT, higher tonnage will consider in calculation.

2)    In case which vessel don’t have any motive power so groom leading charge of vessel will have % 100 increase.

3)    in 6th row of table calculation base on vessels discharging norm which is as follow:

-       1 Cent for one days staying of containerized vessel.

-       1 Cent for 3 days staying of general cargo vessel.

-       1 Cent for 5 days staying of break-bulk vessel.

-       If discharging time or staying time of vessel beside jetty take long more than above mentioned norm, staying charge is 5 Cent per day and about 0.2 Cent per Hour.

4) These rates are % 10 of above rates for the shipping companies which have register in Iran and their feeder vessels are sailing with Iran’s flag and transshipping between Iranians port and the other ports. And this is just to feedback Iranians shipping company.

 

5) Shifting charge in Jetty with using of guide is 3 Cent per MT GRT and with using rope pulling is 1 Cent per MT GRT and in case of gloom leading it will calculate according above rate.     

 

Article: if shifting service be one of the port official services so in this case there is no charge.

 

6) Faros Duty receipt from the vessels and floaters which sail once to the Iran’s ports and this duty receipt when vessel enter the first port.

 

7) All tax and duty will receipt from the floaters and vessels which fasten to the Mooring Buoyer or fasten double to any other vessel or floater.

 

Article: one sail means from the time that one vessel enter Iran’s port till leave them.

 

8) In mixed floating units (Iranian’s with foreigner ones or vise versa) the above charges will calculate for each unit separately and according to its flag.

 

9) In case of serving gathering garbage in anchorage or as double in jetty and anchorage, garbage gathering charge will receipt just once but the amount is twice the tariff.

 

10) If ports office informs his availability of acceptance the vessel and then the vessel avoid to berth for any reason then there is $550 penalty per Hour delay after half an hour free time.

 

11) for the case which one vessel discharging its import cargo, if someone want to load his export cargo in the same vessel, vessels agent should inform this 12 hours before finishing the discharging the vessel  to port operation Department then if the export cargo is ready to load there is no problem but in case which it is not ready the vessel should leave anchorage and also all charges should be paid.

 

12) Quarantine service charges:

There is Quarantine service charge which receipt from foreigner vessels or floaters which berth in Iran’s Ports and they calculate as following tables:

13) Sea facilities charges per hour:

Sea facilities charges per hour which use for the purpose other than berthing the vessel will calculate up on the coordination of the responsible in ports and jetties.

Exemption of Tax, Duties and port charges for the vessels

1)                All the vessels and floaters which belong to Iran’s Helal Ahmar.

2)                All the warships which belong to Iran’s Army.

3)                serving vessels which offer service in Port region and they don’t have permission for leaving that countries water all tax and charges will receipt just once when they inter the port or leave the port.

4)                All vessels which come to port for any reason other than commercial purpose there is no tax and duty.

5)                For all vessels and floaters which faced combustion or oceanic incident and for which need saving help.

           Article: in case which ship has sunk and ship owner avoids to remove the remnant so port office has this right to remove them by his own charges and then sales them and pick his own charges from that.

6)                calculation invoices of the vessels tax and duty which coming to ports for offering some services once:

for case which some facilities needed for loading and discharging the shipment and these facilities aren’t available in port, by order of goods owner required facilities will come to port by floater. Such these shipments are exempted from tax and duty and there is just guiding, gloom leading and garbage gathering will be calculate for them.
