Iran’s customs and ports organization has appointed a 30% abatement, due to large quantities of cargoes, for these territories.
Abatements are as follow:
Khoramshahr- Abadan: 30 % deduction for certain and some affirmed imports.
Bushehr: 30%
Hormoz Island adjacent to Bandar Abbas: 30%

Services from Khoramshahr & Abadan Ports

Regarding this fact that Abadan and Khoramshahr are located on the southern point of Iran in Khuzestan Province and concerning this matter that these two ports are closed to National Refineries and Petrochemical industries and also there are some small ports near to these two ports , there are regular movements by barges and small ships from these ports to Persian Gulf countries. These barges pass a part of Karoun rivers and then enter into Persian Gulf and finally to different countries located on the south of this Gulf.
