A governmental newspaper in the Republic of Azerbaijan titled :"The new shipping line between Azerbaijan , Iran and Kazakhstan shows that transportation traffic in Caspian sea is being activated".This new shipping line , linking Nowshahr port / Iran to Baku / Azerbaijan and Aktau port / Kazakhstan , would help the transportation of goods between these three countries and on the whole in Caspian sea be flourished . 'Mercury 2' , which is equipped by special facilities for passengers and also well - equipped warehouse for movement of goods , sailed Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan and last week it left for Iran .
